UN Scientists Warn Time Is Running Out to Tackle Global Warming

There is NO time to waste on corporate lobbying, NO time to waste on reducing carbon emissions, NO time to waste on global warming. It is here, it is now, and it must be dealt with here and now. IF we want our children and grandchildren to know this planet as we know it, IF we want to have biological diversity and even enough food to eat while enormous forces of nature re-define our environment.
Eight years? So far it is four years and counting of a Repug Reich war over oil profits that apparently cannot be reined in. So far the big oil profiteers have reduced life forms on the planet not only by their disastrous carbon emissions but also by dumping toxic wastes in equatorial waters, by lobbying for oil drilling in coastal waters and the Alaskan wilderness, by oil spills that kill aquatic life and pollute the oceans, and by robbing other nations of the oil revenues which in many cases are their only assets.
True urges everybody to look to their carbon footprint personally, but MUCH more important, to speak out against the huge international corporations that want to devour the planet wholesale.
